HOOVER, AL - The LSU Tigers were shutout for only the 2nd time in SEC tournament history as they fell to the Florida Gators 1-0 in the semifinals.

The Tigers finished the tournament with a 3-1 record.

The lone run in the game came in the 6th as Jonathan India hit an RBI double to plate Dalton Guthrie.

Caleb Gilbert takes the loss for the Tigers, although the Hoover, AL native pitched well as he gave up 5 hits, the lone run and struck out 3 in 5.2 innings.

The Tigers didn't have many chances to score as Scott Moss only gave up 3 hits in 6 innings of work, and then 3 other Gator pitchers combined to give up just 3 hits in the last 3 innings.

The only other time the Tigers failed to score a run in the SEC tournament was in 2004.

LSU now awaits its NCAA tournament fate with the seedings announced on Monday.

If LSU is named one of the top 8 seeds, they'll have the right to host both a Regional and Super Regional round if they win the Regional.
