SEC honors Wilson as offensive player of the week
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson is Southeastern Conference offensive player of the week.
Wilson completed a school-record 32 passes for 365 yards and three touchdowns against Mississippi State.
LSU defensive back Ron Brooks and Kentucky Danny Trevathan shared defensive honors, while Georgia kicker Blair Walsh is special teams player of the week.
Brooks had a sack, forced and recovered a fumble and returned an interception 46 yards for a touchdown against Mississippi.
Trevathan made 17 total tackles, including three for a loss, and caused two fumbles in a loss at Georgia.
Walsh made all four field goal attempts for the Bulldogs.
LSU guard Will Blackwell is offensive lineman of the week, while Tennessee's Malik Jackson and Georgia's Abry Jones shared defensive line honors.
Tennessee linebacker Curt Maggitt claims freshman honors.
