Search for missing girl, 10, continues in Colorado
WESTMINSTER, Colo.- Authorities looking for a 10-year-old Colorado girl who disappeared days ago after leaving for school are planning to finish scouring open fields and resume searching the fifth-grader's suburban Denver neighborhood on Tuesday.
Jessica Ridgeway was last seen Friday morning after leaving home to meet friends at a Westminster park on her way to school.
Police say the only item found so far that they can link to Jessica is her backpack. It was found on a sidewalk in a neighborhood about six miles north of her home on Sunday.
