Search for missing 12-year-old continues after arrest
ST. JAMES- The search for a missing 12-year-old continues in St. James Parish after deputies arrested a man in connection with her disappearance.
John D. Celestine, 42, was booked into the parish jail on felony obstruction of justice and reports of missing children; false reports or communications. Deputies said Celestine is the fiance of the missing child's mother.
Talaija Dorsey was last seen early Tuesday morning and was reported missing a few hours later when her mom could not find her to wake her up.
Since, a massive search has developed in St. James. Area law enforcement are assisting. As of this post, there was no developments on the child's whereabouts.
"Due to the potential of additional charges, elements of the investigation involving John Celestine are not being released," the sheriff's office said in a news release posted on Twitter.
