Search continues for SUV involved in Vegas shooting
LAS VEGAS - Police in Nevada have contacted authorities in three states about a Range Rover being sought after gunshots and a fiery crash on the Las Vegas Strip.
Police say someone in the SUV opened fire on a Maserati that crashed into a cab. Two people in the cab and the Maserati driver died.
Las Vegas police Sgt. John Sheahan said the Range Rover was last seen near the Venetian resort as it headed north from the shooting scene on Las Vegas Boulevard.
One tourist compared the dramatic scene - with bullets fired from the black Range Rover into the gray Maserati - to a violent action movie. The shooting marked the latest violent episode on the Strip since the beginning of the year.
