ADDIS - The search continues for a pair of fugitives wanted in connection to a murder in West Baton Rouge Parish last year.

Corey Kitts was shot three times in the head in 2010. This month, a grand jury indicted his wife, Monique Kitts, and two other men in connection to the murder. Monique Kitts was denied bail today, by a Judge in West Baton Rouge Parish.

Corey Knox and Karl Howard remain on the run. Investigators believe Monique Kitts was having an affair, and a lack of money may have prompted the murder. Sources told News 2, Corey Kitts had a large life insurance policy.

Neighbors who live in the quiet community where the murder happened, want the suspects to turn themselves in.

"I do realize the last place they would be would be in this neighborhood, I'm just worried about what would happen to other people they meet," Betty Woods said.

Call Police if you know where the fugitives might be.
