Sean and Kevin O’Keefe returned home to the Washington area this week.
Kevin was released from a hospital in Anchorage on Aug. 17. Sean was transferred from Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage to an undisclosed hospital.
“Based on all of the reports, Sean’s condition is good, and all things considered, his prognosis is excellent,” said Paul Pastorek in a statement issued on behalf of the O’Keefe family. “He continues to deal with some complications, but these temporary setbacks are being managed well. On another positive note, Kevin’s recovery is also progressing very well.”
Pastorek said doctors believe Sean will make a full recovery.
Sean and Kevin were in a plane crash Aug. 9 in Alaska that took the life of Senator Ted Stevens and four others.
