OMAHA, Ne. - The first game of the College World Series has brought out the best in the two starting pitchers. LSU's Aaron Nola retired Bruin bats 1-2-3 in the second inning, and UCLA's Adam Plutko has only allowed two Tiger base runners.

The Tigers and Bruins head to the third inning in a scoreless tie, and the winner gets to play North Carolina State. The Wolfpack dispatched of North Carolina 8-1 earlier Sunday.
