Rapides Parish school officials are investigating a school bus incident in which three students were found walking on the shoulder of Interstate 49 after an apparent argument with their bus driver.

The bus driver has been suspended since the incident.

The three students had been on a school bus headed for the LEAD Center in Alexandria.

LEAD Center student Marlonzo Trottie, 17, has been arrested for allegedly hitting the bus driver, Anthony Veal, 33.
