The scattered showers will continue through the afternoon with some thunderstorms popping up from time to time. Some of the rain could get heavy at times. This rain is coming from a stalled cold front just north of Louisiana and a weak trough of low pressure sitting over Southern Louisiana. Temperatures will be much cooler thanks to the clouds and rain with highs in the lower 80s.
The showers will continue this evening with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 70s.
We will keep the mostly cloudy skies around tonight, but some showers and thunderstorms look like they will redevelop for Wednesday Morning like they did today. Low temperatures will be in the lower to mid 70s.
