We will see an increase in the amount of storms we receive today, and that will give us a break from the heat! This is thanks to an upper-level low and a tropical wave that are moving across the Gulf of Mexico. These systems will increase the amount of moisture in the air, and that will allow us to get some much needed rain! We will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some heavy rain will be possible! It will still be hot before it starts raining with high temperatures will be in the lower 90s.
The clouds will stick around tonight along with a shower or two. Low temperatures will be in the mid 70s.
