We will have another round of showers and thunderstorms popping up this afternoon. They will come from a sea breeze, a disturbance over Texas and outflow boundaries. Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe. Heavy rain will be the main threat, and flash flooding will be possible. Winds could also gust to around 50 mph at times. It will be hot with highs will around 90.
The showers and storms will continue into the evening commute and hours. Some heavy rain will still be possible as the temperatures will be in the 70s.
Some showers will linger overnight with mostly cloudy skies. It will stay warm and muggy with lows in the upper 60s.
