Saying goodbye to Tabby Thomas
BATON ROUGE - Family, friends, and admirers paid their final respects today to Baton Rouge blues legend Tabby Thomas.
Thomas died last week, just two days short of his 85th birthday, following complications after a stroke.
Funeral services were held this morning at Shiloh Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
Tonight at 7:00, there will be a musical celebration in memory of Tabby Thomas. It is being held at the Manship Theatre and is open to the public.
