Sawed-off shotgun found at Port Allen High
PORT ALLEN - A student at Port Allen High was arrested for bringing a sawed-off shotgun to school. According to school board officials, two students were detained.
A 16-year-old student is facing charges for terrorizing, carrying a firearm at school and posession of a sawed-off shotgun.
Two other students told the Assistant Principal about the gun.
No names have been not been released.
The school is meeting with the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department on school safety measures.
