Saints shine in Pro Bowl
HONOLULU, HI - Five New Orleans Saints shined in Team Jerry Rice's 22-21 Pro Bowl Victory Sunday night.
Drew Brees finished the game with 81 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the winning team. The Saints' signal caller helped the Hall-of-Fame wide receiver pick his team and chose all of his teammates.
That turned out to be a good move, as Brees' touchdown went to Jimmy Graham in the second quarter. The tight end finished with 51 yards and that touchdown. Brees was protected by two of his own offensive linemen, Ben Grubbs and Jahri Evans.
New Orleans' lone defensive Pro Bowler also stood out on Sunday. Defensive end Cameron Jordan had a couple tackles, and sacked Cam Newton for 13-yard loss in the second quarter.
