NEW ORLEANS - After throwing an interception in the end zone to former LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu(his first interception of his NFL career), Drew Brees and the offense drove down the field to put points on the board.
The Saints lead the Cardinals 17-7 with 4:03 left in the third quarter.
The scoring drive went 8 plays for 67 yards, ending with a 31-yard field goal by Garrett Hartley.
Drew Brees is now only 19 yards from breaking the 300-yard passing mark in the game.
