The Washington Redskins seemed to grab momentum in the first half, after a strong rookie debut from Robert Griffin III and a slow start from Drew Brees.

However, that momentum was quickly reversed with a Martez Wilson blocked punt and Courtney Roby return for a touchdown to pull the Saints within six - 40 seconds before the end of the half.

HALFTIME SCORE: Redskins 20 - Saints 14.
