NEW ORLEANS - Drew Brees didn't have a touchdown toss in his first preseason game last week versus the Chiefs, but the Saints quarterback wasted little time in his second outing. Brees led New Orleans on scores on each of their first three drives in the opening quarter, including a 16-yard touchdown pass to rookie Kenny Stills.

After the first quarter, the Saints led the Raiders 17-0.

The signal caller started the game 9-for-11 passing with 147 yards and a touchdown to his credit.

Brees is still in the game in the second quarter. Payton did not set a timeline to bring in the backup quarterbacks.

Former LSU quarterback Matt Flynn is 6-for-9 passing with 51 yards through the air for the visiting Oakland Raiders.
