Saban's daughter cleared in sorority dust up
BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA- A judge dismissed a lawsuit filed against the daughter of Alabama football coach Nick Saban who was involved in a fight with her sorority sister.
The judge ruled Kristen Saban was justified in using force to defend herself during a scuffle with Sarah Grimes four-years ago.
Grimes claimed she was hurt by Saban when they brawled after a night of drinking.
Judge James Roberts says evidence shows Grimes started the fight and Saban was allowed to defend herself under Alabama's "stand our ground" law.
Kristen Saban's lawyer says the family refused to pay "hush money" to avoid publicity.
