WBRZ - Baton Rouge

Ryan Davidson is the weekend meteorologist for News 2 Louisiana. He joined the WBRZ team in February 2010.

Ryan is originally from Patchogue, New York. He attended Penn State University and graduated with degrees in Meteorology and in Film and Television.

Before coming to work for WBRZ, Ryan previously worked at KXMB-TV in Bismarck, North Dakota, from May 2007 to February 2010, as well as WBBJ-TV in Jackson, Tennessee.

Ryan's interest in film and television began at an early age. "We used to make lots of movies and also put on a newscast in my best friend's basement called ‘Hello Long Island,' where I did traffic and weather," he says. "It wasn't until my eighth grade earth science class that I became obsessed with weather."

Ryan currently resides in Baton Rouge with his dog, Rudder. In his spare time, he enjoys running, golfing, biking, rock climbing, surfing and lots of other outdoor activities. However, Ryan is really at home when he is at the beach.
