RV destroyed in fire, nearby house spared
ST. AMANT - Volunteer firefighters near St. Amant said they stopped an RV fire from spreading to the owner's nearby house early Wednesday morning.
James LeBlanc with the St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department said the neighbors called in the fire around 1:35 a.m.
LeBlanc said the RV was only a few feet away from the side of the owner's home, so firefighters worked quickly to keep it from spreading and damaging the house.
"Great job by the Volunteer Firefighters by stopping the fire from getting to the home," he said.
Firefighters said they're still investigating what lit the RV on fire.
