HAMMOND - Police are searching for men who may be connected to two business robberies.

At one, an unidentified man threatened to kill an employee. The department shared surveillance video of the most violent altercation on its Facebook Tuesday. The robberies happened in October.

"Do you want to die?" the man asked an employee at a payday loan location North Morrison Blvd. when he realized the employee only had access to $1,000. He stormed out after handcuffing the worker and spraying her with pepper spray, police said. Surveillance video recorded the confrontation and the man is seen leaving the business holding a small, silver revolver.

A few days later, police said a business was robbed on West Thomas Street by a similar man wearing a gray hoodie, mask and goggles. A second man was with him in the later heist, police said.

Police are looking for help identifying suspects in both cases.
