Storms knocked out power, closed roads Tuesday
LIVINGSTON – High winds associated with a deadly line of storms Tuesday knocked out power and closed streets.
In Livingston Parish, sections of Highway 190 closed just after lunchtime due to a downed telephone pole.

Around 1:25 p.m. DOTD officials warned drivers that Old Jefferson Highway was closed in both directions north of LA 42 in Ascension Parish. Hours later, the highway was reopened.

Traffic signals across the region were either out or malfunctioning, causing significant delays.
