ASSUMPTION PARISH- Today, state and local officials gathered to update the public about what is going on with the sinkhole. Texas Brine has agreed to make a significant contribution into a fund intended to help Bayou Corne residents.

*Rig coming in from Lafayette
*Approximately 40 trucks will transport it to Bayou Corne
