BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Community College will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Westside Campus in Plaquemine next week.
The new $3.5 million dollar facility will be located at 25250 Tenant Road.
It will be over 15,000 square feet and include four classrooms, plus industrial shops, a science skills lab, and a training room.
The Westside Campus will offer classes for nursing and medical assistants, along with classes in pipefitting, electrical, and instrumentation.
Welding classes will be taught in partnership with Plaquemine High School.
The new campus was made possible by a donation from Dow, and donated land from the Iberville Parish School Board.
