Union workers at Rhodia's Baton Rouge chemical plant are returning to work after they ratified a new three-year labor agreement, ending a strike that began Nov. 3.
The new agreement is similar to an agreement rejected by the workers Nov. 2, but it includes changes to an after-hours callout procedure.
Rhodia's Baton Rouge plant produces sulfuric acid and related products for refiners and other industrial markets. The plant also produces ingredients for foods and agricultural applications.
