The lack of progress in a cat killing investigation in Ascension Parish has led the Humane Society of Louisiana to offer a reward for information.
The group is offering a $2,500 reward funded by them and an anonymous donor for information that leads to a conviction in the case, which was reported back on July 23.
Authorities were called to the Dupont Chemical site in Darrow after a cat had been found beaten to death in a dumpster, and had reportedly been tortured. In a press release, the Humane Society said the departments investigating the matter hadn’t done much beyond their initial report, and hoped the establishment of a reward would bring new leads in the case.
People with information can contact the Humane Society of Louisiana at 1-888-6-HUMANE.
