BATON ROUGE- A man accidentlly shot himself with his own gun at his residence this morning.

At a house off of Warwick Avenue a resident thought he heard a noise in his home. The man grabbed his gun, but unfortunately ended up shooting himself in the stomach.

As far as investigators can tell, there was no one else in the house.
