DENVER - As the two presidential candidates focus on preparing for Wednesday night's debate in Denver, Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan is keeping up the GOP attacks on President Barack Obama's foreign policy.

Ryan told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham that the Obama administration has been inconsistent on what led to the attack last month on the U.S. Consulate in Libya that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.

Mitt Romney has been making the case that he's better suited to be commander in chief than Obama is. In a column published in the Wall Street Journal today, Romney says Obama has "misunderstood" American values in his foreign policy. He accuses the president of minimizing the seriousness of the attack in Libya that killed U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens.
