Report: Butch Jones out as Tennessee head coach a week before LSU game
BATON ROUGE - The Tennessee Volunteers have fired fifth-year coach Butch Jones, sources told ESPN.
Tennessee athletic director John Currie told Jones on Sunday morning that he was being fired, according to ESPN.
This comes after a blowout 50-17 loss to Missouri Saturday, and a winless season in SEC play so far.
