Repairs at College/Perkins intersection begin tonight
BATON ROUGE - The EBR Department of Public Works will begin emergency sewer repair work that will affect the intersection of Perkins Road and College Drive starting this evening.
The work will require lane closures and traffic restrictions which will begin Friday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. and will run through Monday, Aug. 25 at 6:30 a.m.
Drivers who use the route should observe the following conditions:
- Perkins Road Eastbound - The two thru lanes will be closed. Left and right turns will be allowed.
- Perkins Road Westbound - Left, thru, and right turns will be allowed.
- College Drive Southbound - The two left turn lanes will be closed and left turns from southbound College Drive to Perkins Road eastbound will be prohibited. Thru and right turns will be allowed.
- Lee Drive Northbound - The right turn from northbound Lee Drive to Perkins Road eastbound will be prohibited. Left and thru turns will be allowed.
Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays in connection with the traffic conditions. They are advised to use alternative routes when possible.
