WASHINGTON- A source says Congressman Anthony Weiner plans to resign.

The New York Democrat is expected to make an announcement today.

This comes weeks after he confessed to a sexting scandal.

Many Democrats have urged him to resign, for sending sexually explicit messages and suggestive photos of himself to various women and then lying about it.

And now, a former porn actress who exchanged emails and messages with Weiner says he asked her to lie about it.
