Remains of baby found in laundry
SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA- A hospital in Saint Paul apologized to a laundry service after the remains of a stillborn baby were found inside a sheet sent out for cleaning. Regions Hospital says the remains were wrapped in a sheet to go the the morgue but the sheet was mistakenly sent out for laundry service. The hospital says policy is to ask the parents what to do with the remains, but wasn't clear if the family had made any request. The remains are now in the hospital morgue and Regions is investigating and working to make sure it doesn't happen again.
