The Red Stick Amateur Baseball League is in full swing. In its second year of existence, the league has games Monday through Thursday evenings at Pete Goldsby Field in Baton Rouge. It provides a chance for many local collegiate baseball players to hone their skills close to home.

This summer there are four teams, sponsored by local businesses. The players pay their way in, and help maintain the facilities.
