Recall petition filed against Sorrento mayor
SORRENTO- A pair of residents took the first steps Friday to recall Mayor Mike Lambert.
Brain Sisk, chairman of the effort, and Donald Trabeaux, his co-chair, walked into the Secretary of State's office this morning to begin the petition.
The pair can now officially collect the 348 signatures needed to trigger a recall election.
Sisk said he's disappointed in the way Lambert has run the town and wants to ensure Sorrento remains a viable town.
Another group of residents filed a petition on Wednesday to begin a recall campaign on Sorrento Councilman Randy Anny.
