Reality TV stars post $25,000 bail
LIVINGSTON - Two more members of the canceled Baton Rouge reality TV show 'Sons of Guns' are in trouble with the law, accused of cruelty to a juvenile.
Investigators in Livingston Parish arrested Stephanie Hayden and Kristafor Ford Friday. Ford was charged with cruelty, while Hayden was charged with being principal to cruelty to a juvenile. Their bonded out a few hours after being booked.
According to arrest documents, Ford struck a 9-year-old with a leather belt hard enough to cause bruises on their lower-right thigh and buttocks. The report says the child told investigators Hayden was in the room and watched it happen.
The pair are married, and Hayden is the daughter of disgraced weapons connoisseur William Hayden. He remains in jail in Baton Rouge on child sex charges.
Ford, Stephanie Hayden and William Hayden had a stake in Red Jacket Firearms, the center of the TV show which was canceled after William Hayden's series of arrests related to child sex abuse. Stephanie Hayden discussed the issue on national TV recently where she accused her father of touching her inappropriately when she was a child.
