A man in Utah says it was grotesque, but he did nothing wrong by eating a live baby rat and his animal cruelty charge was dismissed. Andy Ray Harris of Tooele was charged in April after authorities saw a Facebook video of him eating what appeared to be a baby rat. He says he ate it on a dare. Harris argued it was not animal cruelty because the rat was going to be eaten by a snake and rats don't have legal protection because they're pests.
