PORT ALLEN - A West Baton Rouge neighborhood is on alert after burglars went through more than a dozen vehicles in their neighborhood, even stealing one.

Nearly 20 vehicles were hit overnight on Emily Drive.  Most were just rummaged through, but Andrew Law's truck was stolen.

"I was on my way to work, went into the driveway and it was gone," he said.  "I thought it was a joke at first but it wasn't. It was gone."

According to the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, many of the victims left their vehicles unlocked.

Brian Preajan said he usually scolds his children for leaving the doors open, but this time he was the one to blame.

"We'll definitely lock doors and maybe leave some lights on," he told News 2.  "Some of the neighbors have a few cameras. I don't know if I'll go to that extreme. But if it continues to get bad it may go to that."

So far no arrests have been made.

If you have any information about the break-ins, contact the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.
