Rarest of rare baseball card auction
A rare 148-year-old baseball card discovered at a yard sale in Maine is expected to gets bids in the hundreds of thousands when it's auctioned. A man found the card depicting the Brooklyn Atlantics amateur baseball club inside an old photo album he bought while antique picking near the Canadian border. The card isn't the same as a modern day one. That design didn't happen until the 1880's. Instead, it's a photograph from 1865 mounted on a card which shows nine players and the manager. The Library of Congress says its aware now of only two copies of the photo and one is in its collection.
