Rapper arrested after search reveals 150 lbs. of marijuana
BREAUX BRIDGE – A rap artist known as “Big UNK” and two other people were arrested after authorities said they found them with around 150 pounds of marijuana.
Reggie Smith was arrested by narcotics agents after a search of his home in Breaux Bridge Saturday morning. St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s deputies, Louisiana State Police and DEA agents were involved in the investigation.
During the search agents discovered the drugs, $500,000 worh of jewelry and more than $72,000 in cash. The street value of the seized drugs was more than $250,000.
Also arrested as a result of the investigation were Keith Jean Lewis and Cameka Stroggins, both of Breaux Bridge. All three were booked into the parish jail in suspicion of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.
