Rally opposing drilling moratorium today
A rally to oppose the drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico is set for today at the Lafayette Cajundome.
The rally is expected to draw 15,000 to 20,000 people wanting to show concern about the halt of deepwater oil well drilling imposed by the Obama administration.
Opponents of the moratorium say its "brought economic recovery in Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast" to a standstill.
