Rally opposing Common Core in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - More than one hundred people rallied in front of the Department of Education in the capital to oppose the education standards called Common Core.
The "Stop Common Core Coalition of Louisiana" hosted the rally. The group is made up of parents who say they believe in educational freedom and believe the federal government is violating the rights of parents with its Common Core program.
