Raises to be considered for Southern System employees
BATON ROUGE - Hundreds of employees in the Southern University System may soon get raises.
On Friday, the Southern Board of Supervisors will consider across the board salary increases for faculty and staff at Southern's Law School, Ag Center and New Orleans campus.
The raises will be up to four percent.
So far, there are no plans for raises at the main campus in Baton Rouge, but System President Ronald Mason says that could change soon.
