Spring officially arrives at 6:02 AM today. We will begin the morning with mostly cloudy skies and a few showers or sprinkles as a weak disturbance moves through town. The radar will look like a lot of rain is headed our way, but we have some pretty dry air over Baton Rouge. That will limit the amount of rain that makes it to the ground, this is called virga, but plan on some rain for the morning commute. Temperatures will be in the 50s. Take your umbrella with you!
The mostly cloudy skies will stick around into the early afternoon hours before we become partly cloudy. Any rain we do get will come to an end after lunch as the disturbance moves southeast of Louisiana. High temperatures will be around 70.
We will become mostly clear and chilly tonight. Low temperatures will be in the lower 40s.
