Rain expected for lunchtime Saturday
BATON ROUGE - If you have plans near Baton Rouge this Independence day weekend, you can expect a little bit of rain Saturday.
Expect some showers earlier in the day, but all rain activity is expected to stop by 4 p.m. Saturday. Make sure to keep an umbrella handy before, during, and a little after the lunch hour.
The high for Saturday is 90 degrees. People heading out to catch the Fireworks on the Mississippi River can expect temperatures in the upper 80s into the night. The air will definitely be hot and humid throughout the day.
