Expect widespread shower and thunderstorm activity primarily during the first half of your Wednesday. Some of the showers and thunderstorms could produce heavy downpours and gusty winds. Generally, 0.5" - 1.0" of additional liquid is anticipated area-wide, however the heftier showers could drop higher amount and cause some ponding of water in poor drainage areas. Precipitation will end from west to east during the afternoon hours. With rain and cloud cover around early, thermometers will be limited to the middle 70s. Humidity will remain early but should gradually decrease through the evening hours. Clearing skies are expected during the evening and overnight hours with a sharp springtime temperature drop. Lows will reach the low 50s with all humidity being swept away to the east.
