BATON ROUGE - An elderly man was gunned down inside his car almost nine hours after his next door neighbors were murdered.
68-year-old David Walker was killed while driving his vehicle along Seneca Street on Friday night.
Hours earlier, his next door neighbors, Harold Anthony and Donovan Cummings were shot and killed on Thomas H. Delpit Drive.
The morning of the double homicide, Walker told WBRZ that he saw people fleeing the scene, but wasn't sure who pulled the trigger.
As of now, authorities are unsure if there was a connection between the murders but some witnesses believe otherwise.
An anonymous source told WBRZ the deaths were suspicious.
"Someone maybe thought he saw something or he was outside when it happened," they said.
Police say they are still investigating the possibility of a connection.
