Push for the playoffs continue
UNDATED - The final weekend of the 2013 Major League Baseball season starts tonight with five of the 10 playoff berths yet to be determined.
In the National League, the Braves have wrapped up the East while the Dodgers have clinched the West. It's in the Central where things get sticky. Entering play tonight, the Cardinals top the Pirates by three games with three to go. As far as the Wild Card race is concerned, the Pirates and Reds hold down the spots and all that is left to decide is the order of finish.
Tonight's schedule shows the Cardinals at home to the Cubs while the Reds are playing host to the Pirates.
In the American League, the Red Sox are champions of the East while the Athletics have won the West and the Tigers the Central. As a new day dawns all eyes remain on three teams, Texas, Tampa Bay and Cleveland. In the Wild Card standings, the Rays top the Indians by percentage points while the Rangers are a game back of Cleveland.
This evening, the Rays are at Toronto, the Indians are at Minnesota and the Rangers are home to the Angels.
