The Louisiana Recovery Authority wants your help to plan $112 million worth of rebuilding after hurricanes Gustav and Ike in 2008.
Director Paul Rainwater said the agency met with parish leaders and nonprofit groups in hurricane-affected areas, now public comment will be open through Thursday.
The plan is to build hurricane proof infrastructure, businesses and response systems.
Nonprofits, municipalities and businesses will all be eligible for grants and low interest loans.
The LRA board, the joint legislative budget committee, the Legislature and the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development must all sign off on the plan.
