Protesters slow traffic on I-10 in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE- State transportation monitors said traffic congestion has cleared, after protesters put on a show and slowed traffic on I-10.
Protesters were holding signs over the Nairn Street bridge, between Perkins Road and Bawell Street. Drivers reported the signs read "Impeach Obama/Benghazi."
There were traffic alerts, warning drivers of heavy congestion through Baton Rouge for at least an hour or two Saturday.
Most of the congestion was cleared by 1 p.m., and traffic cameras appeared to show that the protesters- and their signs- were gone.
